Thank you to everyone that has supported Horror Fest at West from the very first day of school when the idea of an on campus film festival was given the breath of life. Your faith in our proposal got us through some tough times.
Thank you to the Horror Fest at West artists. You more than exceeded our expectations by bringing nightmares to life on our posters, flyers, and website. So you want to make a horror movie but don’t know how to start, here are some ideas to get you going.
Horror is just the top of the pyramid, there are a lot of sub-categories that fall under it.
Mystery
Suspense
Thriller
Sci-Fi Horror
Supernatural
Make a movie about a Haunted House, Ghosts, Vampires, Zombies or Monsters.
You can make it Grim and Ghastly, Terrifying, Horrifying, Gruesome or Gothic.
Ever had a ghostly encounter? Relive it on film.
Know of a haunted place? Make a documentary about it.
Show us what scares you.
What is your greatest fear?
What were you afraid of as a child?
Make a scary movie 3 to 5 minutes long, submit it on October 22 between 11:00pm and 2:00pm in FA 304.

A free event open to students, faculty, staff, and the greater community created to promote awareness of campus resources in cinema, multimedia, and art. Please note that while Horror Fest at West is free, on campus parking is $2.o0.
